No Naked Palette? No problem. Check out the new Revealed palette from Coastal Scents. This 20-shade palette seems to incorporate very similar shades from both the original Urban Decay Naked and the Naked 2 palettes, but is only $19.95. Here is what Coastal Scents has to say about the new Revealed palette: “Expose your natural beauty with this exquisite collection of nude and metallic hues. These smooth, powdered shadows blend seamlessly to create an array of day or evening looks. The slim palette holds all twenty shadows, allowing for easy on-the-go application.”
Here is a closer look at the shades. You can click the image to enlarge it further. Unlike the typical round “hot pots” or the tiny dime sized shadows that usually make up Coastal scents palettes, Revealed consists of 20 rectangle shaped shadows, further imitation of the Naked palettes. I am a big fan of Coastal Scents shadows, so I’m confident that this new palette is going to be of pretty good quality. It’s unfortunate that there doesn’t seem to be a mirror in the lid, which makes the palette a lot less travel friendly that Coastal Scents claims. I guess for less than a dollar a shadow though, I can’t complain too much. If you don’t have Naked or Naked 2 (or just can’t get enough neutral shades), you may want to grab the Coastal Scents Revealed Palette from coastalscents.com.
