Limited Edition Milani Matte Baked Bronzers

Milani is at it again with a great limited edition release.  This time, they are offering two new LE shades of their famous Baked Bronzer, but with a twist.  This time around, the bronzers are matte.  (!!!)  I really love my Milani Baked Bronzer Soleil, but it is shimmery.  I’m very excited to see a matte version coming out.  Milani had a lot of success this year with their new matte baked blushes, and they are sure to repeat that success with these matte baked bronzers.

Milani has three existing shades of baked bronzer: Glow, Soleil, and Golden.  All three have shimmer.  Here is what Milani says about them: “A bronzing powder that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracota tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous, enhancing the purity of the skin. This hi-tech, streak free bronzer, gives a perfect radiant look.”  Now added to the lineup for a limited time are Sienna and Sunset.

Sunset is described as a medium tan.

The new shades are both available on Milani’s website now, and should be appearing in your local Walgreens soon, so be sure to keep an eye out.  I am very excited about this release.  Milani has some really great baked blushes and bronzers, and I am glad to see that they are expanding to matte varieties.  Remember, unlike the new baked blushes that are permanent, these baked bronzers are Limted Edition, so don’t wait to long if you are interested.  Milani Baked Bronzers are available for $8.99 at milanicosmetics.com.

About beautyinbudgetblog

I am a self proclaimed eyeshadow junkie whose main hobbies include shopping, reading, singing, and mainlining caffeine while hanging out with my friends. I love interesting socks and have amassed quite a collection. The place that I want to visit before I die would be Greece. I like to read all seven Harry Potter books once a year the way some people read the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. (Sorry JRRT, but JKR kicks butt in my book.) I love art, and use my creativity in many different ways through painting, crafts, and makeup. I love to cook and try new things, and I especially love to eat. My favorite "date" is to go wine tasting, and do so with my husband once or twice a year. I love musical theater and think the world would be much better off if we all just watched more musicals. I am 100% a cat person and, although I think dogs can be really cute and sweet, they make me sneeze so cats will always rule. I love faeries and magic, mythology, theology, philosophy, and psychology. I regularly do logic puzzles and sometimes crosswords. I adore Bette Midler, Betty White, and Carol Burnett. I am not ashamed to admit that I watch Glee. I would like to start making some of my own clothes because I can't stop myself from buying fabric. I'm sure that there is much more, but I'm suddenly distracted by something shiny.

I usually go for more of a contour, so I use it under my cheek bones below where the blush goes to give my cheek a more defined “hollow”. I also use it lightly around my hair line and my jaw line to provide some depth there. Basically, you use bronzer to help things recede and highlight to bring things forward. If you are worrying about looking too powdery, you can try a cream contour or cream bronzer. I’ve heard good things about Sonia Kashuk cream bronzer available at Target. I hope that helps.
