The Body Shop Holiday 2014

The Body Shop Holiday 2014

I was browsing The Body Shop’s Holiday gift sets, and had to share them with you because they are so adorable this year.  They have so many sets out right now at all different price points.  I am going to show you some of the sets that stuck out to me as especially interesting, but there are many more, so you should definitely check them out in store or online at thebodyshop.com or ulta.com to see if you are interested in anything else they have to offer.  Let’s get started with the cutest gifts ever.

Jingle Gels Sleigh

Jingle Gels Sleigh

Jingle Gels Sleigh $15– “Jingle all the way to a great pampering gift with this collection of mini fruity shower gels, presented in a fun and festive sleigh, they make a great stocking filler.”  A sleigh full of “Jingle Gels”.  I mean, come on, that’s the cutest thing ever.  Scents include Satsuma, Strawberry, Mango, and Moringa.  The Body shop scents are very pure and true to the name.  I think the shower gels are great, and this is a wonderful stocking stuffer or part of a larger beauty gift.

Gliding Lotions Sleigh

Gliding Lotions Sleigh

Gliding Lotions Sleigh $15– “Glide on into the festive season with this collection of mini fruity and nutty body lotions. Presented in a fun and festive sleigh, they make a great stocking filler.”  If shower gels aren’t your thing, the lotion set is just as cute.  You get the Shea Body Whip, Mango Body Whip, Strawberry Body Puree, and Coconut Body Milk in this set.  They had similar sets last year in a large tube (though this packaging is much cuter) that I bought and split up for multiple people.  They were a big hit.

Festive Body Moisture Trio

Festive Body Moisture Trio

Festive Body Moisture Trio $18– “Try all the treats this season! This trio of mini body butters comes in three seasonal scents, making it the perfect way to discover your favorite. With Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana.”  This set includes the three limited edition holiday scents: Frosted Cranberry, Vanilla Brulée, and Glazed Apple.  This is just one of several different gift sets for each of these seasonal scents, so be sure to take a look on the website or browse a store to see them all before they are gone.

The Jolly Lippy Lolly

The Jolly Lippy Lolly

The Jolly Lippy Lolly $20– “Get lippy with this collection of five juicy, moisturizing lip balms. In a fun lollipop box, it’s a great stocking filler. Tempting fruity flavor in a travel-ready pot. With Community Trade beeswax from Zambia.”  I am a lip balm junkie, so this would be an awesome gift.  I haven’t tried the Born Lippie lip balms from The Body Shop, so I don’t know how they perform.  But this would be a great way to try them out.  Scents include Strawberry, Raspberry, Satsuma, Watermelon, and Passion Berry.

Candy Kisses

Candy Kisses

Candy Kisses $20– “Get ready for mistletoe mischief with this cute candy-cane shaped gift. Sweeten up your kisses with five luscious Lip Butters in some of our favorite fruity, nutty and gourmand flavors.”  This set includes Strawberry, Honeymania, Coconut, Shea, and Mango lip butters.  I have always wanted to try the Lip butters from The Body Shop, so this set looks great to me.  What’s even more exciting is that Honeymania is included in this set, and it may be my favorite Body Shop scent.

The Best of Body Butter Snow Globe

The Best of Body Butter Snow Globe

The Best of Body Butter Snow Globe $25– “Discover a world of Body Butters! With fruity, floral and nutty flavors, this fun snow globe shaped gift is the perfect way to discover our iconic Body Butter. With Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana.”  The Body Shop Body Butters are fantastic.  They are my favorite Body Butters out there, and this is a great gift to get.  I may have to get this for myself, it’s so good.  Scents include Coconut, Shea, Moringa, Strawberry, and Satsuma.

The Body Shop Beauty Advent Calendar

The Body Shop Beauty Advent Calendar

Beauty Advent Calendar $50– “Countdown to Christmas in skin-loving style with The Body Shop’s Beauty Advent Calendar. This extra-special treat features a beauty surprise behind every door, from best-selling body and face care to iconic fragrance, plus our latest additions: Glazed Apple, Wild Argan Oil and Colour Crush™ Nail Colours. Make it holiday every day!” I saved the best for last.  I am so excited that US beauty brands are starting to release Advent calendars.  This year we have one from Benefit, a 12 day calendar from Tarte, and this one from The Body Shop.  Maybe I am just a sucker for Advent calendars in general, but I think that this is just the cutest thing ever and want one very badly.  Inside you will find a variety of soaps, lotions, shower gels, nail care and fragrance.  I do not believe that the Advent Calendar is available from Ulta at this time, so you need to get it directly from The Body Shop.

If I listed every gift set The Body Shop was offering, this post would be five times as long, so I’ll stop here.  The Body Shop is so good for creating “pamper me” gift baskets.  Last Christmas I gave my mother and my sister large gift baskets full of skin care and bath & body products.  They loved them.  Neither my mother nor my sister were very familiar with The Body Shop, and both of them were so impressed with the quality.  The scents smell so natural and lovely.  I really like The Body Shop’s philosophies towards the environment and the global community.  For example, they are teaming up with War Child, the global charity for children affected by war, to grant children the wish of education.  For every specially selected gift that is bought (and all of the products that I listed here are part of the program), The Body Shop will make a small contribution to War Child that funds a class for a child.  I definitely recommend that you give The Body Shop a try this Holiday season.  With so many great gifts, you can’t go wrong.
